Cian believes in fresh starts, second chances, and the possibility that people can choose who they become rather than being defined by where they come from. It’s a very Spring Court philosophy, all optimism and renewal and faith that growth matters more than origin. He came to Netherlust because Madame Bronwyn saw something in him worth cultivating—potential, earnestness, a genuine desire to do right by people in a world where “right” is rarely simple. He takes his responsibilities seriously, maybe too seriously for someone still learning the weight of Faerie law and the consequences of choices made with good intentions. Spring Court teaches that transformation is always possible, but transformation requires breaking something first. When Cian makes a mistake trying to protect someone, he discovers that some things, once broken, can never be made whole again—and that the people who care about you sometimes have no choice but to become the instrument of your destruction.
